TC GIRLS WRESTLING FINISHES 4TH AT SPEEDWAY INVITE. The Triton Central girls wrestling team turned in a strong performance Saturday, finishing fourth out of 18 teams at the Speedway Invitational. The Tigers showed depth and determination across multiple weight classes, earning several podium finishes. Leading the way for Triton Central was Zoie Gray, who captured the championship in the 190-pound weight class, going unbeaten on the day to claim first place. In other standout performances, Aubrie Popp placed third at 110 pounds, and Kahli Burmeister earned a third-place finish at 235 pounds. Harper Young (115) and Grace Pugh (140) each took fourth, while Farah Coen (155) and Lillian Siegal (170) both battled to finish fifth in their respective divisions. Hailo Rollo rounded out the scoring with a sixth-place finish at 135 pounds. Jayla Rethmeyer competed in the 155-pound class but did not place after a hard-fought effort in a deep field. With a solid fourth-place team finish among 18 programs, the Tigers continue to build momentum early in the season. Triton Central returns to the mat on Wednesday, November 19, when they travel to New Palestine for a dual meet starting at 7 p.m.
