TC GIRLS JV BASKETBALL BEATS MORRISTOWN, IMPROVES TO 4-1. Triton Central’s junior varsity girls basketball team put together one of its most complete performances of the young season Monday night, rolling past Morristown 51–14 on the road. The Tigers set the tone early, building an 11–3 lead after one quarter and never allowing the Yellow Jackets to establish any offensive rhythm. By halftime, TC had extended its advantage to 21–10, and a dominant 17–1 third quarter put the game well out of reach as the Tigers carried a 38–11 lead into the final frame. Balanced scoring highlighted the effort, with seven Triton Central players reaching the scorebook. Hayden McMichael led the way with 11 points, while Peyton Fillippinie added 10. Anna Kemper and Ryn West each chipped in 8 points, Kenzie Hoover tallied 8 as well, Eliana Joy finished with 4, and Madison Swisher contributed 2. With the win, Triton Central improves to 4–1 on the season. Up next, the Tigers turn their attention to the Monrovia JV Girls Basketball Tournament on Saturday morning. TC opens play at 10 AM against Indian Creek and will return to the court at 11:30 AM for either the championship or consolation game against Monrovia or North Montgomery.
