TC GIRLS WRESTLING ADVANCES 6 TO REGIONAL ACTION. Triton Central’s girls wrestling team put together a strong showing Friday at the Perry Meridian Sectional, finishing sixth out of 14 teams and sending six of its eight wrestlers on to the regional round. Leading the way for the Tigers was Zoie Gray, who captured a sectional championship with a first-place finish in her weight class. Harper Young followed with an impressive runner-up performance, while Farah Coen battled her way to a third-place finish. Triton Central also saw three wrestlers punch their tickets to regionals with fourth-place finishes, as Aubrie Propp, Kahli Burmeister, and Lillian Siegel each advanced. With six qualifiers moving on, Triton Central will compete at the Regional this Saturday at Muncie Central High School. Wrestling is set to begin at 9 AM.
