TC BOYS BASKETBALL BEATS RONCALLI, JV FALLS. Triton Central’s varsity boys basketball team earned a quality road win Friday night, defeating 3A No. 3 Roncalli 52–43 on the road. The Tigers showed balance and composure throughout the contest, getting contributions up and down the lineup to pull away late. Jackson Faust led Triton Central with 13 points, while Eli Sego and Brody Hartman each added 11 as TC placed three players in double figures. Grant Long chipped in eight points, Brayden Hoover scored five, and Henry Kemper and Conner McClure each finished with two. With the win, the Tigers improve to 7–2 on the season. Triton Central will be back in action this Friday when it opens Shelby County Tournament play against Waldron at Waldron. Tip-off is set for 6 PM. In the junior varsity contest, Roncalli edged Triton Central 52–40. Despite the loss, the TC JV squad also stands at 7–2 on the year.
