GIRLS BASKETBALL VS. FRANKLIN COUNTY (1/3)

TC GIRLS BASKETBALL SWEEPS FRANKLIN COUNTY ON THE ROAD. Triton Central’s varsity girls basketball team picked up a strong road win Saturday night, holding off Franklin County 59–53 in a competitive matchup. Maryrose Felling delivered a standout performance to lead the Tigers, pouring in a game-high 27 points. Quinn King and Layla Compton each added 11 points, giving Triton Central three players in double figures. Kate Collier chipped in seven points, while Rylee Pruitt scored two and Cheyenne Allen added one to round out the scoring. With the win, the Tigers improve to 10–3 on the season. Triton Central will now turn its attention to the Shelby County Tournament on Thursday against Southwestern at Waldron. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 PM. In the junior varsity game, Triton Central earned a 39–23 win over Franklin County. The TC JV squad also improves to 11–3 on the year and will return to action Tuesday with a road game at East Central, tipping off at 6 PM.
