Triton Central’s boys wrestling team pulled out a hard-fought 38–33 victory over Shelbyville on Thursday night in an exciting dual meet at Triton Central on Senior Night. The Tigers leaned on bonus-point wins to build their total, getting pins from Bane Metcalfe, Braxton Nufio, Jaye Blazier, Liam Thompson, and Braxton Zimmerman. Those five falls proved to be the difference in a tightly contested match. Triton Central also earned crucial decision victories from Jacob Herman and Conner Phipps, adding valuable points in bouts that came down to the final whistle.
