TC BOYS WRESTLING TAKES 2ND AT MAC INVITE. Triton Central’s boys wrestling team turned in an outstanding performance Saturday morning at the Mac Invite at Maconaquah High School, finishing second out of 13 teams and narrowly missing the team championship by just 6.5 points. The Tigers placed 10 wrestlers in the scoring positions. Leading the way were Braxton Zimmerman, Conner Phipps, and Braxton Nufio, who each captured championships in their respective weight classes. Landon Ball followed with a runner-up finish, while Jaye Blazier, Bane Metcalfe, and Anthony Toon all earned third-place medals. Robert Copeland placed fourth, Jacob Herman finished fifth, and Chance Uhls rounded out Triton Central’s scoring with a sixth-place finish. The Tigers will be back on the mat next Saturday at Speedway High School for the inaugural Hoosier Legends Conference boys wrestling match. Action is set to begin at 9 AM.
