TC BOYS BASKETBALL WINS 42ND COUNTY TITLE, SEGO NAMED MVP. Triton Central’s varsity boys basketball team delivered a dominant performance Saturday night, rolling past Morristown 56–24 to capture the championship of the 101st Shelby County Tournament at Waldron High School. Senior Eli Sego led all scorers with 24 points, powering Triton Central to the 32-point victory. Jackson Faust and Grant Long each added 10 points, while Brayden Hoover chipped in six. Brody Hartman scored four points and Henry Kemper finished with two as the Tigers spread the scoring across the lineup. With the win, Triton Central claimed its county-leading 42nd Shelby County championship, including eight titles from Fairland and nine from Moral Township prior to school consolidation. Sego was named tournament MVP after his standout performance throughout the tournament. Triton Central improves to 9–2 on the season and will return to action Wednesday night at home against Scecina. The junior varsity game is scheduled for 6 PM, followed by the varsity contest at 7:30 PM.
