TC SOFTBALL EARNS FIRST WIN IN DOUBLEHEADER SPLIT WITH TRI-WEST. Triton Central softball broke through for its first win of the season Saturday, splitting a Hoosier Legends Conference doubleheader with Tri-West Bruins softball at home. In game one, the Triton Central Tigers softball struggled to slow down a strong Tri-West lineup, falling 12-2. Triton Central responded in game two with a much stronger effort on both sides of the ball, earning a 6-4 victory. With the split, Triton Central moves to 1-4 overall and 1-1 in Hoosier Legends Conference play. The Tigers will look to build on that momentum as they continue conference action Tuesday night on the road against Beech Grove Hornets softball. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 PM.
