TC SOFTBALL SWEEPS BEECH GROVE. Triton Central softball continued its strong stretch Wednesday night with a pair of wins over Beech Grove Hornets softball, as both the varsity and junior varsity squads came away with convincing victories. The Triton Central Tigers softball varsity team powered its way to a 16-3 win, staying hot at the plate for the second straight game. After an offensive explosion the night before, the Tigers once again put together a balanced attack, combining timely hitting with solid defense to control the game from start to finish. With the win, Triton Central varsity improves to 3-4 overall and 3-1 in Hoosier Legends Conference play. The JV Tigers followed suit with an impressive performance of their own, defeating Beech Grove 11-2 in a three-inning contest. Triton Central jumped out early and never looked back, showcasing its depth and offensive consistency in the shortened game. Triton Central will look to keep the momentum going with a busy Thursday slate. The varsity team travels to face Heritage Christian Eagles softball at 5:30 PM, while the JV squad returns home to take on Indianapolis Living Water Marlins Homeschool softball at 6 PM.
