TC GIRLS SOCCER BEATS BEECH GROVE IN VARSITY AND JV MATCHUPS. The Triton Central girls soccer team delivered a commanding performance Monday night, cruising to an 8-0 victory over Beech Grove in varsity action. The Lady Tigers came out firing with six different players finding the back of the net. Rylee Pruitt and Ariel Walker each recorded a brace, while Brynne Aukerman, Maddie Burnett, Ahna Ashman and Sydney Reardon each added a goal to cap off the offensive onslaught. In goal, Cheyenne Allen secured her third shutout of the season, anchoring a solid defensive effort that kept Beech Grove without a single goal-scoring opportunity. The junior varsity squad also impressed, playing just one half but still managing to blank Beech Grove 5-0. Alina Kahler led the way with a hat trick, while Dannahi Lopez and Anabelle Beard each tallied a goal. Triton Central will look to carry this momentum into their next matchup at Rushville next Wednesday (9/3), with kickoff set for 5:30 PM.
