TC GIRLS SOCCER BLANKS SCECINA ON SENIOR NIGHT; ALLEN SETS SHUTOUT RECORD. The Triton Central girls varsity soccer team celebrated Senior Night in style Monday, rolling past Scecina 5-0 behind a balanced attack and a record-breaking performance in goal. The Tigers spread the scoring around as Ava Bedwell, Rylie Pruitt, Madelyn Burnett, and Ariel Walker each found the back of the net, with Walker striking twice. Assists came courtesy of Walker and Bella Ball, helping TC secure its seventh win of the season. The night also marked a milestone for senior goalkeeper Cheyenne Allen. With her eighth shutout of the year, Allen set a new school record for shutouts in a single season, surpassing the previous mark of seven held by Anya Slaughter (2012), Taylor Berry (2015 and 2016), and Allen herself from her sophomore campaign. Triton Central improved to 7-2-2 (2-1 HLC) overall. The Tigers return to action tonight when they travel to Indian Creek for Hoosier Legends Conference matchup with a 5:30 PM start.
