TC BOYS TENNIS SWEEPS MORRISTOWN ON SENIOR NIGHT. The Triton Central boys tennis team turned in a dominant performance Tuesday night, sweeping visiting Morristown 5-0 to earn its 13th win of the season. The Tigers were sharp across the lineup, taking straight-set victories in four of the five varsity matches. At No. 1 singles, Max Crouse set the tone with a 6-4, 6-3 win over Dalton McMichael. Caleb McGuire followed with a commanding 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 2 singles, while Talan Canter cruised at No. 3 singles, 6-1, 6-0. In doubles play, Janssen Capps and Brayden Hoover dominated their match at the top spot, rolling 6-0, 6-1 over Michael Ballinger and Mitchell Ronan. The No. 2 doubles pairing of Drayton Kermode and Graham Gast fought through a three-set battle, ultimately clinching a 6-0, 1-6, 7-6(4) win to secure the sweep. The JV Tigers also picked up a victory, as Bradyn Robinson earned an 8-0 win at No. 1 singles for the lone match played. With the victory, Triton Central improves to 13-6 on the season.
