TC GIRLS SOCCER BLANKS INDIAN CREEK 4-0. The Triton Central girls soccer team continued its strong season Tuesday night, rolling to a 4-0 victory over Indian Creek in Hoosier Legends Conference play. The Tigers spread the scoring around with four different players finding the net. Maddie Burnett, Ariel Walker, Kaylynn Peterman, and goalkeeper Cheyenne Allen each tallied a goal. Allen, who stepped up to take a penalty kick, converted to cap the scoring in a rare highlight for the senior keeper. Rylie Pruitt and Layla McKee provided key assists to fuel the offensive attack. On the defensive end, Allen was just as impactful in her usual role between the posts, recording five saves to secure her ninth shutout of the season. With the win, Triton Central improves to 8-2-2 overall and 3-1 in the Hoosier Legends Conference. The Tigers will be back in action Thursday night, hosting Lutheran at 6 PM.
