TC VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS SOUTHWESTERN, IMPROVES TO 13-6. The Triton Central volleyball team turned in a dominant performance Thursday night, sweeping host Southwestern in straight sets (25-16, 25-4, 25-12) to notch its 13th win of the season. The Tigers controlled the match from start to finish with a balanced attack and strong serving. Lucy May powered the offense with 11 kills, while Maryrose Felling efficiently directed the attack, recording 14 assists. With the victory, Triton Central improves to 13-6 on the season. The junior varsity squad also earned a sweep, defeating Southwestern 25-23, 25-12. Anna Kemper and Adyson Wright each served three aces, while Wright also contributed five digs and a solo block. Kemper dished out 13 assists, and Maecy Cord led the attack with six kills. The JV Tigers are now 11-6 overall. Triton Central returns to the court Saturday morning with a road trip to Tri-West. The JV match begins at 10 AM, followed by varsity at 11:30 AM.
