TC VOLLEYBALL FALLS TO TRI-WEST. The Triton Central volleyball teams came up short Saturday against Tri-West, with both the varsity and junior varsity squads suffering losses. In varsity action, the Tigers fell in straight sets, 25-16, 25-8, 25-12. Despite the setback, several players turned in solid performances. Gwyn William led the defense with 7 digs, while Alaina Darlage recorded 2 service aces. Lucy May added 3 kills at the net. With the loss, Triton Central drops to 13-7 on the season. The junior varsity Tigers started strong with a first-set victory but were edged out in the final two sets, falling 2-1 (25-17, 21-25, 12-15). Adyson Wright tallied 3 aces, Ryn West added a solo block, and Keely O’Gara anchored the defense with 14 digs. Anna Kemper contributed across the board with 11 assists and 4 kills. The JV record now stands at 11-7. Triton Central returns to action tonight at home for Senior Night against Monrovia. Junior varsity begins at 6 PM, followed by varsity at 7 PM.
