TC VOLLEYBALL BEATS RUSHVILLE. The Triton Central varsity volleyball team bounced back strong Tuesday night with a 3-1 road victory over Rushville, winning by set scores of 25-20, 25-15, 16-25, 25-5. Gwyn Williams led the offense with 13 kills and added 5 aces from the service line, while also contributing a solo block. Savannah Plew also tallied a solo block. Defensively, Alaina Darlage anchored the back row with 20 digs, and Maryrose Felling guided the offense with 23 assists. With the win, Triton Central improves to 15-7 on the season. In the JV match, Triton Central cruised to a 2-0 sweep over Rushville, winning 25-8, 25-3. Elly May served 5 aces, Anna Kemper distributed 16 assists, and Adyson Wright powered the attack with 6 kills. The JV Tigers move to 13-7 overall. Triton Central returns to action tonight with a road match at New Palestine. JV is scheduled for 5:30 PM, followed by varsity at 6:30 PM.
