TC GIRLS SOCCER BEATS UNIVERSITY IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE. The Triton Central girls varsity soccer team capped off a strong regular season Tuesday night with a 3-1 home victory over University. The Tigers struck early and controlled much of the match, getting goals from Rylee Pruitt, Ariel Walker, and a University own goal created by pressure from Pruitt. Pruitt opened the scoring off an assist from Bella Ball, while Walker added a goal in open play. The third tally came when the University goalkeeper mishandled a ball under pressure. With the win, Triton Central closes out the regular season at 10-4-2. The Tigers now turn their attention to the sectional tournament at Monrovia. They will face the winner of Brown County vs. Greenwood Christian next Thursday, October 9th at 5 PM.
