TC VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS EASTERN HANCOCK. The Triton Central volleyball program continued its strong late-season push Monday night, earning a clean sweep over Eastern Hancock on the road. The Tigers dominated from start to finish, taking the varsity match 3-0 by scores of 25-8, 25-15, and 25-17. Senior Maryrose Felling set the tone for Triton Central’s offense, distributing the ball with precision and finishing with 16 assists on the night. Lucy May powered the Tigers at the net, recording 10 kills, while Savannah Plew anchored the defense with three solo blocks. In the back row, Alaina Darlage led the team with 11 digs, helping TC control the pace of play throughout the match. With the victory, Triton Central’s varsity squad improves to 16-8 on the season, continuing to build momentum heading into the final stretch of regular-season play. In the junior varsity matchup, the Tigers were equally impressive, defeating Eastern Hancock 2-0 with set scores of 25-19 and 25-11. Adyson Wright led the way from the service line with seven aces, while Anna Kemper turned in a strong all-around performance with seven digs and 13 assists. Madison Swisher added seven kills, helping TC secure the sweep. The JV team now sits at 15-7 on the year.
